We understand the importance of relationships being the foundation for quality early childhood education. Relationships with children and families take time and as a result this investment must begin by knowing the uniqueness of these individuals. For this is the critical foundational step in building a relationship. An appreciation of multiple relationships including people, animals, place and spaces are central to our understanding of relationships. Sound relationships linger and are life long.
Education is central to our program and pedagogical endeavors. We value the impact that education has on the achievement of life- long skills. Education does and can make a difference to people and inevitable impacts on the trajectory of ones life. We aim to ensure that the education we offer is of the highest quality and can only be achieved by an investment of having the highest quality educators of children.
Early childhood education cannot operate separate to the community in which it is located. We need to promote our work in the community and ensure that such relationships are defined as healthy, and trusting. This work begins firstly with our internal community of staff, families and children. We strive to ensure that communities cater to and provide for the needs, dreams and desires of children.
We create childhood memories as a part of our work and value this as the foundation for
the future. The early years makes a difference and we see our work as being a part of this
difference.
We need to provide justice, protection and equity to all including those who do not currently access our educational program. Rights and justice is about access to equality, fairness and a life defined as limitless.
Professionalism encompasses all that is visible, audible and perceived in and outside of our
early childhood community. It is a political act that can shift the perspective people hold on
who we are and what we do. It elevates our educational sector.
